Lincoln Park Zoo and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

After settling in for the first week of July, I decided it was time for us to get out and enjoy Chicago. On July 10th and 12th we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. We always visit these two places on the same day because they are right across the street from each other.

We were excited to visit the new Pritzker Family Children's Zoo. Our favorite woodland animals like red wolves, beavers, and otters are there. The kids had so much fun in the tree top play area. It is a great additon to the zoo.

The Nature Museum has always been a favorite of Madeline's. We have a tradition of taking pictures on the Butterfly Bench. Max loves the water area. They both had fun dressing up like beavers.
